I really love Twitter. I’ve found so many wonderful people, things and experiences as a result of spending time there.
Like this kirtan track, which is available as a free download: Ganapati Kirtan from Ragani
You can also download the entire album from CD Baby for US$10 – a total bargain!
And it’s beautiful music for your yoga practice. Or perhaps like me, you also enjoy listening (and singing along loudly) to kirtan while you cook. I always think it puts a nicer energy into the food when I do that…
Enjoy!

You sure do twit a lot
I’ve never heard about this singer. Perhaps I should try to listen to the sample while doing my 15min morning yoga practice.
thank you for sharing this – it’s beautiful!! I’m going to check out the full album, and pass the sample on.
@Alexandra Cohen – Yeah, I know! But I do love it…
I’d never heard of this singer before either – that’s the whole point of things gained via Twitter. Kirtan is usually slow in the beginning but usually speeds up quite a bit, so I’m not sure it’s quite right for yoga but give it a go!
@Karin – I bought the full album and it’s lovely. I’m always on the lookout for more kirtan-style music. Yay for passing on the love!
