Yes! Two of my fave yoginis! :)

I love how they tackle the hard issues without fear. Linda-sama in particular is someone I have always associated with being unafraid of what others label 'negative' emotions, and yet she embodies a lot of what I think a yogini needs. The nicey-nice culture that can be prevalent in the yoga community often seems emotionally dishonest to me. I love having a blogger I can turn to and see that she is not unafraid to say what needs to be said!

I found the Cora Wen article a little while ago (through another blogger I admire, actually) and was blown away by it. 'Yoga crone'; yes, absolutely! Her honesty and drive is inspiring, and she tackles issues that people want to side-step with refreshing candor.

Thanks for the great post!

FUCK YES!!!

i'm 33, and i recently started working on a full sleeve tattoo. soooo many people ask me (quite intrusively) what it's going to look like when i'm not 33 anymore. (as though intrusion goes down better with age-ist misogyny...)

i'm going to carry of a photo of linda with me from now on. she's FUCKING GORGEOUS. and her work is top shelf, too.

LOVELOVELOVE your blog. subscribing right now. much metta, compañera.
