Another day lost
Hovering, undressed, unsure
No reason not to see the day
No reason to be anywhere but here
Started out numb enough
Lethargy and Inertia
My wingmen
Love is everywhere, though
Intruding on this exile
My gorgeous daily touchstone
(I adore you!)
Emails and calls from people who
Don’t know I’m adrift
Day passing and pulse speeding
Open heart agony arrives
Pain doesn’t knock first
And yet…
Reminders of love and care
Keep interrupting this debacle
Saying… hang in there
Tho it’s not bad and I’m not scared…
My bubble of terror, I think
Has sprung a leak
~Svasti
You have such a gift for putting your emotions into words. Thank you for sharing. Amazing how we can function in such a state of conflict and sometimes those around us see none of it.
I have been rambling and deleting so I will just leave now.
Yup…just need to hang in there…you already know it, beautiful….
Hi Svasti,
I miss you. I love your poem. Funny thing is that I read it a few times because I was surprised that the biggest thing that stood out was that of a feeling of hope despite all that is going around you and the fear.
Big Hugs,
CC
I miss your presence at GSTF. I’m starting to write some heavy stuff. Send good thoughts. Vulnerability.
@tricia – As I was discussing with Jay earlier, its like what I wanted to say barely made it into this piece… but other stuff did, so I guess that’s okay. You gotta get over that deleting habit of yours!!
@Jay – Thank you m’darlin’, sweetness from you as always (when you’re not being a smart ass, of course!). I’m hangin’ in there, I am!
@CC – Well, that’s the thing… I think, well… perhaps anyway, there is some kind of hope. Fuzzy as it may seem.
Hey if you’re writing stuff you want me to see, let me know. I’m still checking in at GSTF every now and then but I’ve been a little distracted… but you know about such things yourself!
This is beautiful “Reminders of love and care
Keep interrupting this debacle”…and this is marvelous “My bubble of terror, I think
Has sprung a leak”
It’s a wonderful poem, and perfectly titled.
Feel a little betta all the time….
Beautiful poem Svasti. My thoughts are with you. I’m sending Reiki love and light to you now.
“Don’t worry about a thing,
cause every little thing gonna be all right.
Rise up this mornin,
Smiled with the risin sun,
Three little birds
Pitch by my doorstep
Singin sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin, (this is my message to you-ou-ou:)”
