Sanur beach, Bali - 20th May 2006
My ship is made
Of love and fear
Of fear of love
Of love of all
– – – – – – – – –
Bright star o’er there
Glinting promise – a plan
Perhaps, setting sail again
O’er all those seas
~Svasti
Nice!
I love that poem! It’s beautiful and I also liked the picture of the boat–the two worked so well together.

@yogabrooks – Thank you!
@Melinda – Thanks! Its actually the first and last part of a poem I wrote many years ago. Found it last night in my cleaning/throwing-out-of-things-I-don’t-need-frenzy. Much of the poem was crap, but I really liked these bits, and realised they worked well together.
Usually I find images for my posts by Googling. But I couldn’t find what I needed, and suddenly remembered some photos I took in Bali. And there it was!
Perhaps your happiness is the deep blue/green of the ocean and the while sails and the white horses.
I do so wish you happiness.
love

I randomly selected this poem from among the list and I think it is beautiful!
@Lydia – thank you very much! It’s a funny little piece of whimsy that I actually wrote years ago and then re-discovered. Kinda fun really!
