‘Round the ends of the universe
And back (again)
Enfolded in blissful possibilities
Of adoration and
Great big shining opportunities
So melts the Castle
Of Impenetrability
Because all things have a Time
And a Place
~ Potentiality ~
Now just looking
For Probable Cause
It MUST be Real
Requiring bone-deep
Introspection
Deeper, even
Now to discover
That first ruby slippered step!
(That is my current plan…)

(A little late-night Twitter-composed poetry, while lying in bed PONDEROUSLY attempting bravery to figure stuff out.)
Like the way you structured the poem and message within the poem.
This was just what I needed to read right now! Beautiful job:)
How absolutely lovely, Svasti! I feel an excitement for you, reading your poem. And how could you know that Wizard of Oz might very well be my alltime favorite movie (well, Casablanca holds a very close second or maybe even is first). I loved this poem!

This is marvelous, and just what I needed to read today. You keep tapping those ruby slippers and the revelations will emerge!
I finally got around to posting about the award you offered me — the one from our BlissChick … Everything about me is moving like molasses these days …
Thank you so much, Svasti …
Potentiality … Potential potency … Yes, that’s what autumn will bring. Here’s a post from my I Ching blog that might resonate … Here’s to new energy arising …
xoxo
I love your poem. You show such strength and bravery. “Now to discover, That first ruby slippered step!” Good luck xx
I love this, Svasti. I know it speaks of you personally but it would be great to include in graduation programs because the sense of it is so universal. Sorry to have not been by because I always like it here…
@slpmartin – thank you!
@Angela – I’m glad. The beauty of poems is that people can interpret them however they like. So pleased it worked for you!
@Melinda – The Wizard of Oz is certainly a wonderful movie. Can you believe that they plan to re-make it? I’m heartbroken about that!
@Jaliya – I’m happy you liked the poem and wrote about your award. I certainly do think you’re a warrior chick! Am checking out the post you mentioned…
@kerryrowett – Thanks Kerry!
@Lydia – what a lovely compliment. I do really like how poems can mean different things to different people. 🙂
